Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival was an annual competition that provided emerging film makers the opportunity to compete for a $1,000,000 feature film production and distribution deal with Universal Pictures. This nine month event began with submissions of short films for competition consideration.
Each contestant needed to develop a working script, storyboards, proposed cast, shooting schedule, budget and movie poster. The packages were presented to a panel of judges during “THE PITCH”, a two day event held in Toronto, Canada. One filmmaker gets selected to be awarded the movie deal. On site vehicle displays, communication plan, test drive area, and Chrysler dealer group were all components to engage consumers and support the Chrysler brand. |
