The Core Team Approach...
We strongly support and implement the “Core Team Approach” a group of specialists with a variety of disciplines work together as a cohesive unit to plan and implement each event.

Assembling the core team is the first step in developing an event and in essence is the “planning” team. The establishment of the core team approach is the tipping point of any successful program. We have embraced and empowered this discipline as the keystone of LD3.

Meet Lou Bitonti

Lou retired as the Senior Manager, Jeep Advertising for DaimlerChrysler Corporation. Durning his tenure, he developed national event marketing activities for the Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep® brands, and was responsible for the company's diversity event marketing and advertising initiatives. He also is the author of the book “The Cosmic Spider Web: How to Capture Any Customer Through Event Marketing“.

During his 25 year career at DaimlerChrysler, Bitonti created and implemented numerous successful marketing programs that have become automobile industry standards and received national and international recognition. He was the driving force behind programs like Camp Jeep*, a three-day, family oriented ownership gathering, which was noted as one of the largest ownership gatherings of its kind in the world. Thousands of Jeep owners and their families across the United States and around the world have attended Camp Jeep since its inception. Bitonti is considered one of the top event marketers in business today and he frequently lectures at universities and business conferences. He was most recently featured on the cover of Event Marketer magazine and was named one of its "Event Marketing Superstars."

Before joining DaimlerChrysler, Bitonti was an Account Supervisor for Burton and Grey Advertising where he created marketing programs for high-profile companies including Heilemann Brewing, Ford Motor Company, Cadillac Dealers Group, McDonald's, Bonanza Restaurants, ABC-TV, The Detroit Free Press, City National Bank and Real Estate One.

 

Professional milestones:

• Led the creation of national and international owner loyalty events for Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep brands

• Established Camp Jeep as one of the first and largest ownership gathering events of its kind in the world.

• Received Promo Magazine's Pro Award 2000 for Camp Jeep as the best use of direct marketing and the best activity generating brand loyalty and again in 2002 as the best brand-loyalty campaign in the world.

• Named to the inagural Event Marketer Magazine's 2004 Dream Team. He was one of eleven individuals nationally to receive this distinction.

• Created multiple interactive, experiential programs for DaimlerChrysler, including Jeep 101, Route 2002, Jeep King of the Mountain Downhill Ski Series, Jeep Collegiate Health and Fitness Tour, the Chrysler Art of Driving, the Chrysler Block Party, sponsorships of the National Basketball Association, the Winter Olympics, NHL Hockey, the National Rodeo Tour and a Jim Henson Muppets auto-safety tour.
